Raphahela Bailey
Raphaela Bailey is an entrepreneur and educator based in San Antonio, Texas. She is the founder and owner of Bailey’s Child Development Center, a veteran-owned childcare facility established in 2013. Initially operating from her home, the center expanded in 2017 to a commercial location at 13777 Judson Rd, accommodating over 70 children across four suites.
Bailey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business and a Master’s in Education. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, she served as an elementary school special education teacher within the Northeast Independent School District in San Antonio. Her dedication to early childhood education is further demonstrated through her active involvement in the Early Learning Shared Services Alliance (ELSSA), a network aimed at enhancing early learning environments across San Antonio Early Learning Shared Services Alliance.
A mother of six, Bailey emphasizes the importance of a nurturing, home-like atmosphere in her center. Her educational philosophy is encapsulated by the quote, “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him to fish and feed him for a lifetime,” reflecting her commitment to fostering independence and growth in children.
Natasha Bailey
Natasha Bailey serves as the Assistant Director at Bailey’s Child Development Center in San Antonio, Texas. Her role as Assistant Director highlights her leadership and commitment to early childhood education. Bailey’s Child Development Center, established in 2013, offers quality childcare services for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
Under her leadership, the center has expanded to occupy multiple suites, allowing them to impact the childcare needs of more families while maintaining a home-like atmosphere through low ratios and qualified, caring teachers.
